Sunday August 1 Ride

We will be doing a 25-30 mile ride at a relaxed pace. This is a great ride for folks wanting to increase their endurance and "road fitness". No one will be dropped. Leave from Starbucks on the circle at 10. Post if you are interested.

nashville, round trip, Sat July 31

Eric H and I are rinding to Nashville and back this Saturday. We will stop in Nashville for lunch. Starting time is open but around 9 and we leave from Calvin Fletcher Coffee shop. Total distance is 110 miles and there are some hills but no real killers. Country roads, nice scenery and one long 2+mile hill. We are riding geared. Post if you are interested in joining us.

Jake & Sophia's Great California Trip :: Day 3

We woke up early this morning and started out on the road around 7:30 am - had an extra hour of sleep because of the time change. :)

At the moment, we're at a local library in Vandalia, IL, a block away from the only restaurant in town which opens in about 20 minutes. Vandalia, IL is a quaint little town in which most of the downtown buildings have pre-1900 dates on them - population 7000. We're about 36 miles from Carlyle, IL our place of rest tonight.

We'll post pictures when we come across a place that will let us plug in the SD card for uploading.

just to put some dropout issues in perspective, this is what happens when chains go weird when riding fixed.

Brown County Ride, 7/17-7/18

We rode to Brown County, camped, swam, jumped off rope swings, played tetherball, double layer tetherball, drank, ate and in general had a really good time together. The next day we woke up ate some delicious pancakes, cleaned up and rode home. We got hit by torrential rain in Greenwood, but kept riding. It was a great farewell ride before Jake & Sophie leave.
