I love the look but why black on white? I like the color on the home page banner...What does everyone else think?

What do you fellow velonauts think about the look of this jersey? I'm think the shirts would look similar, possibly different colors but same design...any ideas for anything on the back?

How in the hell did some one else get there 520 on before mine? jk Its a nice bike just hope they ride it like Iam going to ride mine and after a few weeks I'll have my vo's then mine will look better but nice bike :0 jake

Beautiful classics, nice fixed, some cyclocross and even some really functional working bikes. Riding in the cold

Hey everyone I think that we're going to meet at my place at 9.30 am for the ride that is posted below... This is going to be at 617 1/2 virginia ave. Thanks to everyone who comes and I will see you then. We will be washing our bikes so bring a few bucks if you want to get your pretty ladies washed .... also we're going to be getting shirt sizing together for the indyvelonauts shirts.... Thanks Jake

Velonauts ride again?

Velonauts arise! Let's shoot for a ride/discussion on velonaut details this weekend. Saturday and Sunday are pretty open for everyone, it would be nice to possibly meet at the farmers' market, have a short jaunt to Ftn. Square and possibly do the Ft. Harrison Ride sans the White River Trail, shorter, but we can get to those hills much quicker, maybe take a couple laps up and down. Anyway, let Eric know, thus far Charlie, Brian and Jake have responded with a willingness to ride.

Dress warm, should be a blistering 24 degrees on Saturday w/ some sun in the afternoon.

Charlie also may be able to have his *new bike ready to ride.


*it's a 1980 Trek 414, so though technically not new, new to him and very nice indeed.

Cold Weeks

Hey everyone it is going to be a cold week. Its going to snow off and on all week as you can tell from last night. We all know what happens when it gets wet out and then drops to 22 degress . So just give your self a lil more time so we all can ride with you this summer have a great week.

The new rides...

A few velonauts have acquired some Waterford built steel frame track bikes from Cardinal Bicycles, only found at Joe's Cycles in Fountain Square. This is Jake's new Original Sin pre-build. They're all going back to get the dropouts refinished after a bit of trouble w/ the paint, but we hope to have them on the road very soon. Joe still has a few of the beautifully crafted frames left, you should definitely take a look.

Fort Harrison Single speed ride...

Great ride today ... We had 3 flats and 2 wrecks ending with 28.2 miles .. looking into a great week. Keep the miles up and also dress warm... It's going to be a cold week, in the teens. Hope to see a lot of bikes on the road.
