The men's little 500 race is the same day as the eagle creek ride, April 24. The race is at 2:pm. My thinking is that we could leave Indy (from Calvin Fletcher Coffee shop) around 7:am. This would give us plenty of time to ride to Bloomington in time for the race. After the race is over, we would head back to Indy leaving Bloomington by 5:pm and back in Indy between 9-10:pm. The route is almost all back roads and is about 60 miles (120 total). Anyone who made the Morgantown ride has done the first half of the route. The second leg has more hills than the first part.
This is a challenging ride, especially for anyone who wants to ride it fixed gear. It goes through some beautiful country. No one will be dropped. If we can get at least 3 people to commit to this trip, we will ride. Post here if you are interested.
Probably skip the Bloomington ride and do the Eagle Creek trip.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great ride I just dont think im up to a 120 mile ride yet (in hill country to top it) But i am good for the eagle creek ride.
